Inspired Piece

Tea Pot

Kenneth price only started to make non functional pieces as he started to get closer to his death. Many of these non functional pieces have a drippy type of feel to them all. With my teapot, I decided to try and create this type of feeling to be able to express how he has inspired me through my work. My handle was made built into the sculpture so it wouldn't take away from the piece. My spout was made small also for this reason. Kenneth price was an amazing artist and it unfortunate that he is no longer with us.
