Ron Nagle was born in San Francisco in 1939. He began working with ceramics during the 1950s as a high school student. Ron Nagle’s first exhibition took place in 1968, and since then his work has been shown in many museums, including one-person exhibitions at the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, the San Diego Museum of Art, and at a Museum in Rotterdam.    Ron Nagle is also a musician and songwriter. Nagle has also completed many solo albums, such as Bad Rice that was released by Warner Bros. in 1970. Ron Nagle also worked on the sound effects for movies. He magnified and distorted sounds of jar-trapped bees and shattering windows to create disturbing effects in a film. He is known for his small-scale, sculptures of lots of detail and vibrant colors.
